£300/ package
This £300 short-notice test car hire package is for pupils who are not currently learning with Only Essex Driving and need a car for their practical test at short notice.
Existing pupils and new pupils who have completed more than 10 hours of lessons with us are exempt from the £300 fee. Their test-day charge is £100, including a one-hour driving lesson immediately before the test.
Short-notice hire is subject to driving assessment, instructor and vehicle availability, and advance payment.

Short-notice driving test car hire — £300: This package is intended for pupils who are not currently learning with Only Essex Driving and need a car for their driving test at short notice. It is subject to an assessment, car availability and advance payment.
Test day for eligible Only Essex Driving pupils — £100: Pupils already learning with us, and new pupils who have completed more than 10 hours of lessons with Only Essex Driving before their test, do not pay the £300 short-notice package fee. Their test-day charge is £100, including a one-hour driving lesson immediately before the test.
Blocks are valid for six months from purchase. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months. Lessons are paid directly to the relevant independent driving instructor. Any additional lessons are charged separately. All test-day car hire is subject to instructor and vehicle availability.
